(Deutsche Welle) – The atmosphere for journalists in India is getting bleaker after the recent killing of publisher Gauri Lankesh. Journalist Monobina Gupta hopes that the killing will unite her profession to fight hate and intimidation.

Germany’s Deutsche Welle English Language Service interviewed Monobina Gupta, the managing editor of thewire.in,  after the murder of the Indian publisher and editor.
